Agrilife is pleased to announce it is now the home of SAME tractors for of the Waikato. The news comes just one month after Agrilife Ltd proudly celebrated its fourth year as the Waikato's largest one-stop shop for lifestyle block, landscape and grounds care machinery.
Since Agrilife first opened its doors to the public in August 2006, co-owners Richard Kibby and Ed Tarry have passionately driven the business from strength to strength to become one of the Waikato’s leading providers in their field.
Agrilife's comprehensive product offering is more than impressive, from line trimmers and chainsaws to ride-on mowers and compact tractors. With market-leading brands like Iseki, Kioti, Walker, Cub Cadet, MTD, Echo and Lawnmaster, Agrilife has a product range to suit all applications in both domestic and commercial sectors, from the homeowner to the commercial contractor, and section maintenance to landscaping.
What really sets Agrilife apart from other dealerships is not just its extensive range of quality equipment, it is the company's absolute dedication to providing superior customer service. Not only will Agrilife ensure that the customer is paired with the right machine for their needs, but they are also backed up by a dedicated and experienced parts and service team.
Both Richard and Ed see the SAME dealership as a fantastic opportunity. "It was always our aim to eventually mature into becoming a mainstream tractor dealership. SAME has been a long-term player with over 40 years of service to Kiwi farmers, with a great range of well spec'd tractors renowned for their durability" Ed says.
While SAME tractors have long been a recognisable sight on many farms in the Waikato, the brand in recent times has come of age with some market-leading and innovative technology. Power Farming Wholesale, the new importer for the SAME range, and Agrilife are determined to regain market share by providing these leading edge tractors at very competitive prices.
With many years of experience between them, the staff at Agrilife not only have a comprehensive product knowledge but recognise the importance of customer service. And none more so than co-owner Ed Tarry. Ed has been involved with agricultural machinery all his life since growing up on his family's mixed arable and dairy farm in the UK. With a strong interest in machinery Ed studied agricultural engineering for five years while working for agricultural contractors and as a technician/company demonstrator at a dealership level. Once qualified, he spent the next six years at Case New Holland as an international technical trouble shooter and area service manager for Africa and East Europe. He moved to New Zealand seven years ago to work for Power Farming Wholesale as service support for the North Island, then moved into sales with the team at Power Farming Te Awamutu until starting Agrilife in 2006.
Ed has experienced the agricultural machinery industry from all levels from end-user to a manufacturing level in many countries across the world. "As a result I can identify with the customers and their requirements in the field while appreciating how important it is having a strong efficient after-sales service support from the dealer, distributor and manufacturer With my experience in the agricultural sector and Richard's passion for grounds care equipment, we have the combined knowledge and drive to take Agrilife to the next level. Now, being able to offer a market-leading tractor brand to run alongside our existing products, our experienced staff can confidently service a huge customer base from the large homeowner to agricultural contractor."
Ed and Richard have handpicked a strong and enthusiastic team to fly the Agrilife flag, and have taken on a number of key staff members during their four years in business, including their latest team member Jarred. Jarred, who has 10 years of SAME experience and a real passion for the product, has taken up the role as Agrilife's parts manager – welcome to the team Jarred!
To celebrate the exciting addition of the SAME brand of tractors to its range, Agrilife would like to invite all existing and new customers to stop in and meet the team, or to get in touch with Ed, to take advantage of some EXCELLENT OPENING DEALS! Located 3km north of the Base, on the corner of SH1 and Old Ruffel Road, Te Rapa, Hamilton.
