Choice in the IRON range is extendedfurther by "Hi-Line" versions, which offer an even more attractive set of standard-issue features, with technologically advanced solutions appreciated typically by agricultural contractors, and by farm businesses looking to maximize output and profits.
With a choice of 4 or 6 cylinder engine,hence different length, wheelbase and weight combinations, there are more permutations from which to find the ideal configuration. Whether 4 or 6 cylinder,the Deutz engine is specified with four valves per cylinder, which means that the cylinder fills perfectly on the intake stroke, and blending of the fuel-air mixture is optimized.
All the controls, colour-coded into different function groups, are arranged practically and ergonomically around the operator, positioned according to frequency of use. On "Hi-Line" versions, the multifunction armrest console with integrated joystick carries the "arms reach" concept a stage further - and in reality, controlling most of the functions on IRON models is childs play.
Lift movements and settings are selected from a side con-sole and indicated by a digitaldisplay on the main instrument panel, in which the driver can view the various operating parameters. The wheelslip setting, in particular, is selected directly with a knob operated by the driver.
