An advantageous power-to-weight ratio, correct weight distribution and high technical specifications guarantee maximum effi ciency under all conditions, while intelligent ergonomics and an intuitive control layout make these machines easy to operate right from the outset. Deutz 2012 series TIER III 4-cylinder engines, developed specifically for agricultural use, 5-speed gearbox with 3-stage powershift, change-on-the-go hydraulic reverse shuttle with Stop & Go feature, electronic lift and cab with high visibility roof… these are just some of the features making a Silver³ the ideal choice for medium sized enter-prises.

Silver³ models are equipped with Deutz TIER III engines (4 cylinders, 4038 cm3 displacement, turbo/intercooled),  specified with electronic fuel injection and characterized by notably simple main-tenance.

Electronic engine management guarantees optimum control of the fuel injection system, ensuring stable performance under all operating conditions. The hand throttle incorporates a button used to store and retrieve a selected engine speed: especially handy when negotiating headland turns, this is a function that ultimately increases productivity and enhances driver comfort.

The transmission utilizes a 5-speed synchromesh gearbox and is available in a number of configurations, adaptable to different working needs. The top level package, with powershift, creeper and change-on-the-go hydraulic reverse shuttle, offers no less than 60 forward and 60 reverse speeds: whatever the situation, the right speed will always be available!

Powershift provides the driver with a band of 3 speeds per ratio, selectable under power without depressing the clutch pedal: having selected the gear and range to suit the job, ground speed can be adjusted with the Powershift alone, operating the two buttons on the shift lever.
